Seasonal Ailments

How to treat and prevent seasonal ailments

In general practice, in hospitals and in other areas of the NHS, seasonal health issues arise - either acutely or as a result of past exposures leading to longer term problems

Unprotected exposure to sunlight is a major risk factor in skin cancers, for example. Winter weather creates special problems for older people. We will provide seasonal updates on this page - so that you are aware of the particular issues that commonly arise.

For further information and guidance on summer health, you can visit nhs.uk website.
